Bessie's Send Off Party (Mrs. America)

Saturday, August 11th, Bessie Giannakakis - Mrs. MN America's Send Off Party - What a Great Party it was!! Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long but Bessie was well supported by many friends and family! Bessie ~ I wish you the very best at Nationals!!

It so amazing what a group we have become over the years here in MN! So many of us have competed with each other (sometimes more than once) and through it all we have gained lasting friendships!!! LOVE IT:)

CAbi Clothing Fall Fashion Show

Wednesday, August 1, 2007 was a very eventful night for (2) reasons:

First off was the CAbi Clothing Fall Fashion Show which I was not only a guest singer as Mrs. MN United States but was also asked to model the great fall clothing line. I met Stephanie Klohs, CAbi Consultant through a friend that I met while competing in the Mrs. MN America Pageant back in 2001, was introduced to CAbi Clothing and fell in love. CAbi Clothing is hip, great quality, unique and affordable. I have not only hosted shows but bought the clothes as well. Secondly, this Wednesday night was also a night that Minnesota will not forget! It was the night that the 35W Bridge collapsed! Such a tragic event and hard to believe that my girlfriend Andrea and I just crossed over that bridge on our way to this event about an hour before it collapsed!!!! My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragic event.

Day 3: Morning Poolside Photo and Day of Leisure

Sorry I don't have a lot of pictures to post for this day. In the morning we had our poolside shot and then we could do whatever for the rest of the day. Mrs. Ohio, Oklahoma and myself decided to go to the Venetian to look at the different shops and to check out the gorgeous hotel! We also ventured over to Caesars Palace before heading back to the Silverton Hotel.

That afternoon my husband flew in to Vegas and we had some quality time relaxing by the pool at the Tropicana where he was staying. We also went out for dinner at the House of Blues over at Mandalay Bay with friends from the Mrs. MN America 2001 pageant, April and Josh Bengston. It was a very nice and relaxing day!

Then it was off to Harrah's for the Rita Rudner Comedy Show and she was GREAT!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing:)
