Thanksgiving weekend was a lot of fun! It was the MN Teen and Miss USA Pageant and my first time coaching a contestant.

There were roughly 70 girls in the Teen and 50 some in the Miss. Very tough year for both groups! Everyone looked spectacular!

I was so excited for my girl Nicole. Considering she is very involved in sports and never having done a pageant before it was so amazing to watch her grow and to be a part of it all. She had a wonderful experience and was excited to make the top 15! I also got to see LOTS of pageant friends!!

Blog Update!!

Wow, it's been quite sometime since I've updated my blog....naughty, naughty of me:) Of course life has been busy with a 5 and 10 year old in school, sports, dance, myself working full-time, husband and his busy schedule as a police officer, plus we added another to the family. We now have a second Rat Terrier and her name is Zoey:) Lazlo our 2 yr. old male is adjusting and Zoey only being 5 mo. old is still learning lots.....like potty training!!



The whole family is really looking forward to 2008 and of course I have a few New Year Resolutions:)

Bessie's Send Off Party (Mrs. America)

Saturday, August 11th, Bessie Giannakakis - Mrs. MN America's Send Off Party - What a Great Party it was!! Unfortunately, I couldn't stay long but Bessie was well supported by many friends and family! Bessie ~ I wish you the very best at Nationals!!

It so amazing what a group we have become over the years here in MN! So many of us have competed with each other (sometimes more than once) and through it all we have gained lasting friendships!!! LOVE IT:)

CAbi Clothing Fall Fashion Show

Wednesday, August 1, 2007 was a very eventful night for (2) reasons:

First off was the CAbi Clothing Fall Fashion Show which I was not only a guest singer as Mrs. MN United States but was also asked to model the great fall clothing line. I met Stephanie Klohs, CAbi Consultant through a friend that I met while competing in the Mrs. MN America Pageant back in 2001, was introduced to CAbi Clothing and fell in love. CAbi Clothing is hip, great quality, unique and affordable. I have not only hosted shows but bought the clothes as well. Secondly, this Wednesday night was also a night that Minnesota will not forget! It was the night that the 35W Bridge collapsed! Such a tragic event and hard to believe that my girlfriend Andrea and I just crossed over that bridge on our way to this event about an hour before it collapsed!!!! My heart and prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragic event.
